I know some of you will be making resolutions and goals, and some will be picking a word-of-the-year. Some do it all — like me. 🙂
I also know that there’s all sorts of “info,” spewed by all manner of media, about how resolutions don’t work. Really? Since when?
So I guess we’re all supposed to just give up, not try, and pack it up? Wow!
Well, resolutions actually do work — if you put in the effort. That’s the “secret” key. 🙂
Now if you don’t want to put effort into things in life, then you’ll likely not see results. So that’s completely understandable.
Fortunately, I don’t know anyone in my circle, including my subscribers, who isn’t putting effort and determination into achieving certain goals in their lives.
Who would want to live in a society where people don’t want to even try to better themselves because they might mess up a week or so into the New Year?
Stop listening to “others” and their negativity about how they know you’ll fail in the new year if you dare to make resolutions. Who even thinks that way?
And why would you want to listen to such drivel? Turn. It. Off. Now!
So what if you miss one day of working out, or you eat some sugar when you said you wouldn’t.
Big deal. Who cares?
Just remind yourself of your resolutions, goals, and/or word-of-the-year and put yourself back on track. Yes, it’s really that easy!
You can do it. Easy. Doable. No shame. No blame.
If there’s one resolution I would love everyone to make in the New Year, it would be this — start living an inner-directed life, instead of one led by media, tiktok, podcasts and what other people think you should do with your life in the New Year.
News Flash: When you get to the end of your life, you’ll wish you had NOT listened to these outsiders — these so-called influencers. Why not influence your own life. It’s your life — not theirs. 🙂 Why are you giving away your power?
I know my subscribers are completely different. They are inner directed, making choices that bring them closer to their dreams each and every day. Thank you for standing strong and living your best life!
The Best is Yet to Come Regards,
Tara
