The internet is an amazing tool. Not only can you use it to find information on everything under the sun, you can use it as a tool to connect with your audience to simplify your content creation process. And, who better to connect with than the folks who are eager to hear from you and ready to consume your content.
Here are a few ways you can connect with your audience and use their words and input to help you create content.
Blog Post Comments – Open your blog to commentary and ask for the comments. When people make comments, not only does this boost your SEO, it also gives you great ideas to use for content creation.
Facebook Commentary – Anytime you post on FB, rest assured you’ll get comments. In fact, make it a habit for a lot of your postings to be formatted as questions so that they do. This is a fabulous source for article ideas that can keep you rich in content for weeks and months to come. Make sure to copy out the information and save it somewhere so you can easily find it in the future.
Surveys & Polls – Create plenty of surveys, polls, and interactive content and your audience will start creating some of the content for you. Allow comments on the surveys and polls as well as sharing of it. There are a variety of tools you can use or just use the built-in poll option on your Facebook Page. Great data to have to fuel your future content creation.
Interviews & Case Studies – Ask your audience to fill out a form to enter their information to be interviewed or to provide case studies. Host a webinar or Facebook Live event where you will interview the person. There’s no better way to provide fresh, vibrant and timely content to your audience AND produced by your audience.
Photo Sharing – Ask your audience to share photos that have something to do with your business. For example, if you wrote a book, ask your Facebook fans to take a picture of themselves with a copy of your book. It’s a fun way to share content with your audience.
