Questions are different than statements. A question opens up your brain to explore possibilities. It causes your brain to search for answers. It inspires your creativity — to think beyond what you know to be true right now. It creates options when sometimes you can’t see many or any.
Statements, on the other hand, have an ending. They don’t leave you in a place to wonder about what’s next. Their finality doesn’t open your mind to opportunities. They don’t invite more conversation or exploration.
Feel the difference for yourself. The energy around a question is completely different from the energy around a statement. Tune into your heart and feel the difference when you say the following aloud.
Statement: This is the best path for you to follow.
Question: What’s the best path for you to follow?
