Day 1: The focus on Day 1 will be to get you thinking about the next 6 months … now that the first six are now history!
While the world is spinning out of control, that doesn’t mean you need to. Get yourself grounded by planning your future now.
We all know the past is in the past and we just aren’t going back to the way things were. Ever.
The amount of change that’s coming up for all of us is going to be mindboggling — but only for those who aren’t prepared. So you’re not in that group. Why? Because you’ve been reading and implementing all the neuroscience secrets and books and resources I’ve shared over the last 3 years! So you have nothing to worry about. And, you know what I’ve taught about the topic of worry. 🙂 Don’t go there!
Tara says, “Live for today, but plan for tomorrow. ” 🙂
Quote: “Summer means happy times and good sunshine. It means going to the beach, going to Disneyland, having fun.” ~ Brian Wilson
Tara says: I love the summer. Some of you who have known me for a while know it’s my favorite season. Growing up in Southern California, I had the opportunity to not only enjoy a lot of amazing summers, I also enjoyed living in a climate that was like having summer all year round! It doesn’t get any better than that! The quote, above, describes it well for me. I grew up just south of Disneyland, in the lovely community of Mission Viejo, and minutes from the beach.
As you know, the Summer season started on June 21 (Winter for my friends down under) which was also the summer solstice — the longest day of the year!
And with this shift of Spring to Summer, it’s a time to acknowledge that 6 months of the year have passed and they’re not coming back! Personally, I can’t believe how quickly the year has passed. It seems that the days go by faster — or maybe that’s because I keep so busy as of late. Who knows!
The great news is that you have six more amazing months ahead — two of them beautiful summer months — to create things you want in your life.
My Challenge for You: What do you want to accomplish for yourself in the next 6 months. Grab a sheet of paper, a 3 x 5 card or even a post-it note and write down the important things you want to accomplish. Don’t limit yourself. If you’re more artistically inclined, you may wish to create a collage (similar to a vision board), paint a picture, use colored pens or pencils or other media to bring your dreams to life. And, there’s one more thing. Make sure to place this paper in a place that you can look at every day. Keep it light and easy and fun.
What I love about summer: The taste of home-made lemonade — a beautiful mix cool spring water, fresh lemons, natural sugar, and ice cubes.
