Shadow Coaching Program
This program is designed to assist the client in
creating more efficient processes to accomplish not only more things, but the
right things, in less time.
It’s difficult to keep track and assess what we do all day long. With such
limited time, we’re always looking forward, with little or no time spent looking
backwards to examine our work processes. Most of our lives are lived on
automatic pilot. For that reason, the shadow coach is essential. By partnering
with your coach, you’ll have another set of eyes observing what you do and how
you do it over a period of days. Each day, you’ll receive a debrief of the
observations and at the end an action plan with follow up weekly coaching to
keep you on track
So much of our time is wasted during the day due to rework (not doing something
fully the first time), engaging in unnecessary processes, flitting around from
task to task rather than concentrating on one task for a specified time,
allowing others to take us off track, and engaging in other time wasters, like
face-to-face meetings when a telephone call or an exchange of emails would have
been much more time efficient.
This program aligns closely with the Environments of Excellence™ program. Doing
the right things and doing them right has a direct impact on the bottom line.
Every minute that isn’t focused on what matters most to your business is
actually working against you and adversely impacting the bottom line.
Once you receive feedback on your behavior, you can work with Tara to design a
program to re-engineer processes so they are more effective and efficient, as
well as highly aligned with your goals.

The initial Shadow Coaching period is from 3 to 5
days, followed by 1-, 3- or 6-month follow on coaching, conducted once per week.
This program keeps you highly aligned with your new work plan to ensure that new
processes are sustainable. This program includes an in depth work assessment,
weekly meetings, and focused actions steps aligned with a weekly Coaching
Scorecard.
